Our client came to us with a problem, they had four existing re-use CIP systems that could not be recertified from a HSNO perspective. They had extremely limited time to change over to a new system. They had no space where the existing systems were located and limited space on the other side of a road access.
The solution was a three level structure involving supply manifolds and pumps, heating, chemical dosing and filtration systems, return manifolds and monitoring instrumentation, 300m3 of dilute chemical and re-use water storage. The system had to be installed, run up and tested while the existing CIP systems were still operating, then connected to the approximately 70 CIP circuits and changed over during a tight shut-down window.
