Techo was engaged to develop a system to ensure pH compliance of a 30ML/day waste water stream which experienced extreme pH swings. Because of future waste water treatment requirements, the system was to work with the existing assets and foot print. This was delivered in a full turnkey contract and comprised of:

• New truck load in bay with bunding
• Roading upgrade to allow for the 60T chemical tankers
• 2 new chemical tank bunds
• A secure potable water supply for 3 safety showers
• 1 of 60m³ 98% Bulk Sulphuric Acid tank in stainless steel
• 1 of 10m³ Sodium Hydroxide tank in stainless steel
• 2 of bulk chemical reticulation systems
• 1 of 1,000m³/hr recirculation loop, chemical dosing nozzles and static mixing
• Automated pH probe cleaning system
• Upgrade of existing PLC
